Program - “Take Flight – Field Tips for Photographing Popular Birds”

Eric_Bowles.JPGOur guest speaker for June is Eric Bowles. He will be speaking on bird photography with his presentation of "Take Flight - Field Tips for Photographing Popular Birds". We love photographing birds.  Whether it’s a mallard, a great blue heron, a royal tern, or a bluebird, there are tips and techniques that help professionals get great images.  It starts with knowing the subject and the habitat.  Different types of birds require different approaches and techniques to make great images. We’re going to look at five common bird groups, their habitat, and how to make better bird photos.  What are the tricks of the trade for specific groups of birds that allow you to get great bird images.  When conditions are not in your favor, what do you do?  We’ll discuss technique, equipment, and planning to make you next bird photography session successful.
